Provocation is the second name for the Nasomatto brand. After the olfactory games with cocaine and hashish, it is the turn of... the occasional perfume. Blindly chosen ingredients, whose secret Alessandro Gualtieri does not want to reveal, were blended by the perfumer into what has been called Blamage (German for "shameful," Dutch for "exemplary"). Nose himself describes his creation as "an unfortunate coincidence," which does not detract from the demand for bottles with white knotted birch wood stoppers. There is also a film directed by Rigter, The Nose - Searching for Blamage, about the history of the fragrance. The nose is actually Gualtieri himself. Why random ingredients? Because accident or mistake sometimes result in masterpieces and brilliant discoveries. So why not make mistakes on purpose?
