The scent is based on a natural extract of Indian incense (Boswellia serrata extract). "The smell of natural incense inspired me to create various fragrances, of which Incense extreme is the most abstract and uncompromising," said author Andy Tower. The fragrance embodies the harshness of semi-desert Boswellia climate, where trees flourish wildly. The fragrance is as transparent as the first whiff of incense smoke rising from tar on glowing coals. The heat of the fragrance changes with the cold notes, because sharp temperature changes are so typical of the desert. Boswellia serrata extract is the central component, in Incense extrême it is present in a concentration of 25%. Dry woody notes and gray ambergris shade its sound. Soft iris notes balance incense notes in the heart, and coriander and petitgrain give the fragrance a cool accent.
